Tournament 2016

Please join us for the third Annual CityStix Tournament at Grady Stadium in the heart of Atlanta.  The tournament will be on Saturday February 27th.

Games include two 25 minute halves and a 5 minute half time.  GHSA overtime rules will be followed. The cost of the tournament is $250 to defray the cost of referees.  A trophy will be awarded based upon the following criteria:

Seeding will occur as follows:
Win Loss record if same number of games played.  If an unequal number of games played or similar win-loss record, then the following criteria will be used:
If tied, head to head then
If tied, Most Average Goals then
If tied, Fewest Average Goals Allowed then
Coin Flip
If a game ends in a tie,
(a) The teams will play two (2) overtime periods of three (3) minutes each.
(b) If the score is tied at the end of the second overtime period, a third overtime period will be played and the first team to score will be declared the winner.

For parents and spectators and Grady parents provide concessions for sale.
Breakfast : Hot Chocolate, Coffee, Pastries, Fruit
Lunch: Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Veggie Burgers and Chips

On February 22nd, 2014 the Inaugural CityStix Tournament was hosted at Grady Stadium.  Participants included Archer (Gwinnett), Grady (Atlanta), Meadowcreek (Gwinnett),(North Atlanta (Atlanta), SW Dekalb (Dekalb).  The Tournament was won by Archer defeating North Atlanta.

For 2015, the tournament will be held  Grady Stadium on February 28th, 2015.   Teams participating for 2015 include: Archer (Gwinnett), Columbus( Muscogee), Grady (Atlanta), Meadowcreek (Gwinnett), North Atlanta (Atlanta),  and Union Grove (Henry).
