Owls Lacrosse Camps at Kennesaw State is hosting a winter coaches clinic, running in conjunction with our Toys for Tots Charity Clinic. Coaches will receive lunch and a drill booklet that will cover all aspects of the game including sample practice plans. These drills will be run during the clinic for coaches observation. The clinic is devoted to drills and strategies for coaches to teach at every level. Including parents who just want to learn more about the game and the recruiting process.
Remember recruiting contact rules differ by Division. Go to the NCAA Recruiting Website for Division 1 rules.
September 1st thru November 25 is a Contact period for Seniors for all Divisions.
However November 10 – 13th is a Dead Period
And Evaluations may only occur for the three weekends in November 8 – 9, 15 – 16 and 22-23.
Basically, Division 1 and 2 coaches may not attend tournaments to evaluate prospective students except for those three weekends. This also means that Friday of Presidents Cup does not include Division 1 and 2 coaches. However, this does not limit Division 3 coaches
Moreover, D3 coaches are actively seeking and evaluating players during the fall. Good luck and make contact.
